Mercury 70 water leak help

I seem to have a water leak somewhere when revving. The boat broke down and wouldn’t rev properly but think that’s a separate issue. Link to YouTube below. Any help would be great

Video isn't coming up. You might have a gasket leak inside the exhaust plate cover area. It'll have to come off to find out.

A leak there would produce the problem you are experiencing.

Thats the title. No idea why it doesn’t work. The gears are really stiff to change. Flushed the cables so with that going on I will need to get the leg off anyhow.
