I just picked up a Mercury 7.5 2 Stroke outboard. Unsure of the year but heres the SN:7134723 now for the issue.
When I pull the cord it gets spark and compression on both cylinders but will not get the fire required to start. sounds like it almost wants to go but just wont get that fire needed. anyone have any ideas,maybe you need more information from me to help pin point the problem.
side note. the kill switch is not connected I don't think that would be an issue but im a noobie! also the throttle cable seems to be a little sticky. does not have electric start.
