Folks probably get tired of these questions, but I have been Googling for two hours and can't find what year my motor is.

The serial number is 6315551

The US models had serials between 329XXXX-457XXXX
Canadian was 701XXXX-708XXXX, Ausi 800XXXX-804XXXX and Belgian was 902XXXX-913XXXX"

The tag has the Wisconsin headquarters address and says "USA". But it does not say "Made in USA"



I found this serial number on the cylinder block while looking for a "Made In" label:
4042210.

My only other "guess" would be this could be a commercial engine????? But that is strictly a guess - have no documentation at all on Merc commercials...
