"Hi....thansk for a very interesting site.
My son just bought a secoundhand Mercury 60HP, serieal # 9436021( made in europe). Can you please help us with the following questions:
1. How old is it?
2. The steering is very hard. I've located the problem to the swivel. I guess we have to replace all bearings and gaskets?
3.When we turn on ignition nothing happens, no respons from the starter, can the solenoid be the problem?
