when did mercury change the lo

when did mercury change the look of the 60 from the red graphics with the red wave under the Mercury to the white Mercury with and the white 60 on the back of the cowl? Just wondering because i bought a new in box 60 the dealer received in 2007 that he suspects was made in 2006. I havent had a chance to look at the motor yet. I just realized I really dont want the cheap looking red graphics much prefer the white on black look.

the 0 could be o's and im not sure the last c could be a 0 or o. s/n from a receipt

Usually the date is also indicated on the serial number tag. Most of the Mercury / Mariners I've had stipulated the DOM.
