Can I get get assistance identifying a 50hp mercury with the serial number 0G381080? Year, cyl and 2/4 stroke?

Great. Thank you very much. Anyone know if the lower unit on the 1996 3cyl model is the same as the 2 and 4cyl models? Ive got a jet drive lower unit that will fit up to a 4cyl 97 but someone told me that the 3cyl have a different lower unit. Im wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this...
