"Just got this boat, took it out this morning..was running great when the motor just revved out and stopped 'peeing' and no propeller motion. I shut it off right away. Any ideas? Have tried to remove the leg to look by removing 3 bolts and the leg drops some but will not come off. Help?!"

Sounds like the spline strippe

Sounds like the spline stripped in the crankshaft or the shaft snapped. That was common it these years. Pretty much a funeral for engine at that age if the crank is wiped out. The shaft was carbon steel and made for freshwater only. There may be another bolt hidden under the tab above the prop. You may never get it off from the rust.
