Mercury 4.5 HP ignition question

I have a 1976 mercury 4.5 single. The wires from the stator area to the ignition cail need to be replaced. When I took it apart I see where one lead goes from the coil to the points but I can not figure out where the other lead attaches to. I goes from the other lead on the coil to ???

Any advice would be appreciated.

I found a few pictures and you are correct. That is where it goes. I replaced that wire and the one from the points to the negative side of the coil. I pulled the points out and they were burnt bad. I filed them and just stuck them in without gauging them. For kicks I attached a new plug and rotated the flywheel by hand and Ive never seen such good spark. I'm not normally this lucky. I still need to figure out what size the bayonet fuel connector is. Once I get one Im sure this thing will fire. Not to bad for a $50 motor. Thanks for the help.
