Mercury 3.5 Hp 4 stroke.

Hi folks.
I'm thinking of buying a new 3.5 HP mercury, but I'm reading a lot of posts regarding carburetor issues. Are they very troublesome??

If you buy it from a dealer they will set the motor up for idle and fuel air mixture if you have performance problems. So you should not have to worry about it. I have a Honda 5hp giving me issues at the moment but it’s 26 years old.
