I have a 2006 Mercury F25ELPT 25 hp fuel injected outboard. It runs strong but all of a sudden it stumbles bad but then picks back up. sometimes it's worse then others. This happens all through the throttle range. Idles all day. Fresh ethanol free gas with some seafoam. New gas filters, plugs, primer bulb and fuel pressure is 43 psi even when it stumbles. Does this motor store codes and save them even if the battery is disconnected? Any ideas? Electrical or fuel? Don't want to start throwing parts at it. The only time I can diagnosis it if is I am out on the lake and that takes time away from fishing! Thanks in advance.
