Hi i have a mercuy 1980 ish that has a wierd problem.
I change stator since i dident get spark, still no spark.
I tried everything and almost gave up but then, when i was messureing it for some reason rebooted and now i got spark and it fired up.
I started it a few times and it worked like a charm but then when i was going to install the dead switch it would not turn again.
I removed the dead switch and now i have the same problem again that it has no spark.
Can the CDI be rebooted or can it be resetted in anyway, seems like a did something when i was messureing and i want to do it again.
I understand that i might have to change CDI but i need the boat for the weekend.
