Hi is there any way to find ou

Hi is there any way to find out more about this engine i have any place to get a vin or serial on the engine i think they changed the power trim and that is why it is coming up a different year i have taken the engine hood off it is and on the plastic cover on top of the flywheel it says v200 what i am trying to find out is what year as the engine hood is one piece not like the lazer cover any help???
 
Look on top of the motor for a

Look on top of the motor for a round plug.
The serial no should be stamped in it.

Hi its the weekend cover is off found the round plug looks like a frost plug like a car engine nothing stamped on it any other ways of finding out what engine is in there nothing on the flywheel either any help please.

hi anyone have a wiring diagram for merc.OG041959 2.5L XR1 200hp EFI some wires are not connected wanted to check if they should be or not. thanks
