Please help me if anyone runs into this problem:
Change switchbox and it blew in seconds at rev up. No short no voltage to kill wire. It can idle and troll and do all, but rev up it blows out and loss spark in one bank quickly.

Check the trigger resistance.
Thank you for the time.
Changed out ECU, stator, trigger, starter, starter solenoid, harness, rectifier, etc...eliminated perko switch short. Each change and try the intermittent short came and went and blew out the port side's switchbox. One box got it up on plane at 4600 rpm. The rest of the 7 switchboxes blew while the motor is in a barrel of water. The starboard stays firing and save trolling in. My career ends here. God helps me!!!

There is a bias circuit between the two boxes. You have an issue w/the port side where you have changed everything but the coils. Remove each coil and test resistance and do a visual inspection on them. Contact CDI Electronics and discuss the problem w/them. http://www.cdielectronics.com/support/
