how do i do a diagnostics on my switchbox im getting no fire so im checking each part to find out what is bad i need advice on how to check switchbox first

Switch box is hard to test at home.----Test kill switch , then test stator and trigger coils.----If those test OK you would replace the switch box.

how do i check kill switch im new with outboard motors dont know much.can you tell me how to check these indivisually

is there anyone that can explain what i need to do to check kill switch and stator and does engine have to be turning
