Trying to find resistance specs for a 1957 Mark 30 magneto coil. Coil number QY-2477C, I found the chart in the mercury manual it says secondary resistance min 45 max 60, but 40-60 what? I guess that would be with a mercotronic tester. Anyway with an ohmmeter the secondary measures right at 13K Ohms with Digital test meter. Seems most are 8K plus or minus. oddly the The same chart in the mercury manual shows no primary coil resistance for that coil.
