"I recently purchased a 14' Starcraft Aluminum boat with an Mercury 18XD tiller steering outboard, my problem is that NO ONE is able to tell me the proper year & country of manufacture based on its serial # A186733 When I try to lookup parts etc I'm refered to a chart of} beginning/ending serial numbers that DO NOT indicate anything even close to my #. they all seem to fall between 6------ and upwards! any help will really be appreciated.
