Hay All,
I'm new here and can't seem to find the answer to my problem.
I have a 2017 Beavertail Vengeance with. 115 Mercury CT. It only has 22 hours on it. I bought it 20 hours on it. Used it one full day fishing and then got busy moving so the boat sat for a year. During that time I washed it to keep it clean, and had it covered the hole time.
I'm in Wilmington NC so no major weather swings. I Changed the fuel filter and fuel water separator filter, it was corroded.
The motor will start for a second and then dies. After that it tries to start but won't turn over.
I've checked all the obvious things like fuses, and the run kill switch. I'm stumped. It worked fi e and now after sitting it won't run.
I did put fuel treatment in after it wouldn't start.
Do I need to drain the fuel tank? Covid-19 is not helping with getting it in to a dealer.
