Hi, I have a mid sixties (I think) Kiekhaefer Mercury 110. I intend to use it with remote controls, but am really scratching my head on how that works.
It has the remote control conversion kit already installed. I've added an image of the kit it has as well as the engine itself.
Does anyone happen to have an image or diagram of how this is supposed to work? Particularly the u shaped retaining springs, they are located way behind the actual shift/throttle linkages, and I'm not sure what they are even for.
