Mercruser side mount throttle trim switch sticks

My trim switch sticks on my Mercruser side mount throttle trim switch. Is this easy to replace? Can we replace just the trim switch or do we have to replace the whole side mount throttle unit? Thanks for your help.

You can just replace the switch. It is important that you repair this. If your trim limit switch is bypassed you will have a problem.
