mercruiser 5.0 thunderbolt 5, fuel delivery

I have a 2000 bayliner 2050 capri, mercruiser 5.0. boat quit out on the lake , towed in.
no fuel to carb. replaced fuel pump - oil send unit as well as oil pressure switch.
no fuel to carb
pump runs fine hotwired.
how do I check wiring?

Check the oil pump switch ground circuit. I've seen those crappy little switches screw up.

Ayuh,.... The oil pressure Switch, should have Power on one side with the key on, 'n on both sides with the motor runnin',...

When the starter is crankin' the motor, the fuel pump gets power from the outer tiny terminal on the starter's solenoid,....

If fuel pump is running and no fuel, check for vacuum leak @ water sep filter or a stuck anti siphon valve ( on top of gas tank... looks like oversize hose barb but its a valve too)
