mercruiser 470 prop question

hey guys, I have a 1981 mercruiser 470 w/ what I believe is alpha one outdrive. I want to get a 19p propeller for it. What dimensions and what not do I need to look for for it to be compatible with the shaft? there are so many different numbers when trying to find props for them. I googled it and think it has 15 tooth spline with a 4 3/4" gear case... I dont know I'm lost... any help will be appreciated.

lots of sites have a propeller search tool where you select your year and model and then it shows you all the props that fit. Then you can sort by pitch, and then sort again by # blades, AL or SS etc. iboats has a good one. it will give you 4 or 5 brands of 19P props that will fit your drive, and then you can compare prices of them.

don't worry about dimensions of shafts or cases
you need a prop that is designed for Mercruiser AlphaOne or MC 1- those are the only drives that will bolt to the rear of your boat and they both use the same prop- just make sure you get RH rotation
