Can some one help me with information on how to remove the starter moter from my engine, mercruiser 4.3liter . On my bayliner

Just get everything out of your way. You might hafta remove the manifold on that side.

Remove the battery cable, the yellow/red to solenoid and there may be one other on the solenoid. Then you remove the two 9/16 bolts that screw up vertically under the starter near to the flywheel housing, then it will drop forwards and out.

And maybe the motor mount to raise the engine a bit so the starter bolts come out.

Disconnect the battery first. May be 13MM bolts
