mercruiser 4.3 with edelbrock performer intake

I replaced my stock intake with an edelbrock performer aluminum intake, with adapter plate so i could use my stock 2 bbl carb. When coming out of the hole engine bogs like it is out of gas. If i pedal it, it will take off and come up on plane, has good top end. any suggestions, maybe jets.

Change the accellerator pump setting to increase the fuel it delivers at takeoff. Accel. Pump may need replacement.

You should have also replaced the carb with a 4bbl marine carb if that manifold is a 4bbl manifold.

Adapting a 2bbl to a 4bbl manifold may require some carb tuning beyond the normal adjustments available.

edlebrock makes a nice 4bbl carb 1409 model if kghost gives u a idea i would take it
