Mercruiser 350 Mag

Good Afternoon i have a Mercruiser 350 Mag i need to reinstall my distributor and set the timing back, My question is how do i get the timing right
My serial # is 1A643725 on the Cover it says IGNITION TIMING..............NON ADJ does this mean that its not adjustable?
Do i just set it close to position 1 and it sets by it self?
Also how do i set the engine to TDC i can't fine the mark

Yes, You set TDC and index the distributor for the #1 cylinder. The ECM will take over from there. If you have a lot of hrs on the engine you will need to make a slight adjustment to the distributor to compensate for the timing slack.
