What's the best way to use fuel filters on this engine? It has an inline glass one in the fuel compartment and a Racor fuel/water one in the bilge. I cant remember if it has any on the engine. The glass one started to leak really badly so I took it out. Do I need to replace it or is the Racor good enough?

The inline glass encased filters are illegal for an I/B or I/O usage.

The Racor is an excellent filtration system, and is one of the few actual and true water separating filters out there.

NOTE:
The correct Racor for gasoline I/B's and I/O's will have the all metal bowl at the bottom.
The clear plastic bowls are for O/B's only.

The all metal bowl can be added to the O/B version if that's what you now have.

You'll want either the 120R RAC 02, or the 320R RAC 02 styles.
