"I tried to start that 1969 merc800 to day ,no luck. It turns over for about 10 seconds then stops .I thought starter ,solinoid or battery, battery cecked out ok.But I tested the harness from control box and the power goes from the plug,oh and I haven't tried to fit a kill switch yet. If I replace the control box and harness could any of you guys tell me which would be the best side mount unit to use?"
