merc tracker 60 continuous alarm

Hey gang,
I have a 2002 Merc Tracker 60hp (1-060412z) that is sounding a continuous alarm when I start it that wont go off. Runs fine and oil is mixing with the fuel. Any help would be appreciated!

This is a 2 stroke? The low oil signal is probably just stuck on. This was a common problem. Find the blue wires under the tank and unplug it. Then find the tan/blue wire for the temp sensor and unplug that. Gotta be one of the two.

If alarm still after the above the self test module is possibly your problem. when ign is turned on the horn gives a series of beeps so you know the horn is working oil and temp sensors run through it. this can be bypassed...

Hey animal; My oil senser wire that goes to ground came loose and caused constant alarm. I regrounded it and all is fine. 90hp merc 2-stroke.
