merc tilt

have a merc 25 longshaft bigfoot #og994519 and the gas assist tilt is out of gas. anyone have one? merc says their non serviceabile -- anyone know of a company that can rebuild it?

Merc's correct - it's like the shocks on your car - when they are shot, their shot.

And they do not stock any individual replacement parts for the unit - so even if you can find a rebuilder, not sure if they would be able to help you out - no doubt Merc had this built to their specs, but you may get lucky...
