Its good to be here!
I'm fairly new to the boat world , please forgive my ignorence.
I have a 72 Starcraft Sport which had a 65 hp Merc thunderbolt on it.
The Merc ECM died.
Without doing my research , I know not smart , I purchased a Johnson engine and mounted it to the boat. I started to connect the cables and realized the merc controller works backwards with the johnson engine.
Is the anyway to make these two work in unison or am I needing to purchase a johnson controller to work with the motor?
