How do i find out what the best prop is for 50hp 2stk Merc 1600 Crestliner everything 2007 year

the one i have now peaks at 27mph and 4000rpm

"Cary, your boat/motor/rigging should come in about 1200 lbs.. Number of passengers/junk they take for the day will factor in - with 2 people on board + stuff (I usually pad 500 pounds for something to work with), your rig is displacing 1700lbs.

Prop calc says - optimum WOT 5200-5300 rpms, gear ratio 1.83:1, you can use a 15 pitch and get about 33 mph, top speed, calm/cool day...

If your pitch is close to that (13-17) right now, your only getting to 4000 rpms should not be a prop issue..."
