Merc Control Help Needed

The merc control on this used pontoon was put together backwards: Forward puts it in reverse & pulling back puts it in forward gear. Whats needed to put it back like it should be? Any and all help would be appreciated.

The remote control box that you have does not match the engine. You have to get a box that is meant for your engine. Tell us the model number and manufacturer of the engine and we can point you in the right direction.
