merc coils 4.3 5.0 5.7

this spring and summer must have seen at lest 8 bad coils seems that the towers are getting a hair line crackwe had a couple new in spring and cracked in about two months i am wondering if any body has a fix or a cure all voltages ck fine thanks
 
I replaced the oil filled coil on my last 4.3L w/an epoxy filled coil; it worked fine. I think it was a BLASTER.

Ayuh,.... Change the Sparkplugs, 'n Plug Wires...

Their resistance is too high, causing the coil to seek ground, closer...
 
i hear you some of these had new plugs and wires when coil was replaced i understand the closer ground but is that whats cracking the coil?
 
it is the elevated heat in the coil due to the resistance of the bad wires and or spark plugs............
