on my 1981 mercury 9.8 there i
on my 1981 mercury 9.8 there is a bottom crankcase checkvalve bleeder with the hose missing-the engine runs and starts perfectly at all speeds and idle -at idle or very low trolling speeds (not at higher speeds)it spits out some fuel mixture from this which I assume is normal but is very messy- a hose from this must run somewhere but I can't see were it would go -my friend has a similar older mid 1970's 110 (9.8) model and the hose from his runs up to a tit on the intake plate but on my slightly newer model there is no such tit or hole for one on this plate. I see in a service book there is to be a 4" hose on mine so were would it run to or does it just vent out? thanks
