Merc 7.5 worn driveshaft

Hi team, I have a 1982 Merc 7.5 with a worn driveshaft where the seal under the water pump housing goes. I need to remove the driveshaft so I can repair it. Can anyone tell me the process to remove the driveshaft please? Do I need to remove the prop shaft first and how is this accomplished? Cheers...

Yep have pulled the prop and the plastic locknut and the bearing carrier. Haven't seen any shims so will have to go and have another look.
So which part comes out next? The prop shaft? If yes, how..? Cheers...
