"1962 Merc 60, throttle on tiller turns but does not turn the gear that operates throttle and spark advance inside the cowling. No pin in gear on end of throttle/tiller shaft...but placing a cotter pin in that hole does not solve problems...makes me think shaft is broken?
Not quite sure how to remove the shaft to inspect since throttle/spark-advance gears are meshed and it's impossible to pull them apart.
Anyone been there before? (Don't find photos in the Merc Pre-65 manual that help)
