"My ignition switch fell throu

"My ignition switch fell through the console when the nut holding it was taken off by a neighbor who was helping my wife and gf's trying to start my sunchaser pontoon boat. This weekend I started the boat after pulling the switch out of the console. I put it back in the console, now it won't turn over. A plain brown wire is loose and I can not tell where it goes. There is no power to the engine tilt but the lights work. I did charge the battery but still no ignition. The brown wire is bundled in the ignition switch harness, and seems to be the right length to go to the ignition switch but no screws are loose.
I can't seem to find a reset switch."

It sounds like the fu

"Bob,

It sounds like the fuse on the engine has blown. This could happen if the switch shorted out on something under the console. There may also be another fuse in this circuit depending on how it is wired.

"Tony and Bandit, thanks a lot

"Tony and Bandit, thanks a lot. When I docked it I put the engine up. I guess I'll have to get in the water and put it down and check. I checked out a wiring guide and the brown wire is supposedly for the ref electrode on mercathode system. Whatever that is. I think I blue a fuse or circuit breaker. Thanks again, Bob."
