merc 402 carb rebuild

How much of a job is it to rebuild the carburaetor(s) on this engine. Runs a bit rough and starts hard at times. I also noticed a drip of gas from the bottom of the carb when the engine is not running.

Any thoughts?

very easy if you have a manual, only take one carb apart at a time, that way you have a model to look at when you mess up and need to know how that part went back on.

or take pictures from the start to the finsih, it can help a lot.

this single carb is easy, clean the main jet behind the brass screw at the bottom and set the float...jb
