"Only one plug fires, and it follows when I switch coils. Switching the trigger coil wires made no difference.

Someone please tell me it's not the switch box!

It has only one trigger coil.

It has only one trigger coil. Magnets have reversed polarity. Current alternates direction. Diodes and switches in the switchbox send the spark to the proper cylinder. It can only be an ignition coil or the switchbox.
