just want 2 know ,if i pump the handle when in fast idle postion,does it pump fuel for start -up/.

No it does not. There is no pumps in the carbs.

so what gives the motor fuel on start -up.just the electric choke?this is a 2+2 motor!?

The electric fuel solenoid does. AKA Choke solenoid.

I think the 2+2 also has an accelerator pump. But it is not in the carb and it is not used to cold start the engine.

i have a manual ,but it is very vague in the carb dept. thanx.i am mechanically inclined,but this bugger is driving me nuts! thanx.

it gets hard to strt if it sits for a week or 2.bulb hard etc. etc.good plugs ? all seems well. thanx.
