Merc 110, can't purchase carb part, obsolete??

My grandpa's fishing boat fell off his trailer coming out of the water, it started leaking fuel when you pulled the string, and wont run anymore.

I went to pull the carb apart, and noticed a cracked plastic piece on the 'fuel pump'. I believe it's a vacuum fuel pump that uses crank case gasses to pull the fuel through the carb??

I'm new to outboard motors, and marine in general. I however work on dirt bikes/atvs/sportbikes and cars. I've also worked on a couple vacuum fuel pump'd mopeds.

However both places don't sell it, one says its obsolete.. Is there anyway to purchase this part other then to 'attempt' to find a used one? Is there a replacement part? It's odd to me that they'd sell other parts, but wouldn't sell a plastic part that is prone to breaking.. Is this motor just so outdated you can't buy replacement parts?

If I can't find a replacement, I'm going to just epoxy it shut. But I'd rather buy the part, especially considering it's only $5 or so..

eBay is your best hope. Look for any carb with that piece on the fuel pump--they'll all the same.
