I need help locating the proper placement of the thrust washer located somewhere in the lower drive shaft housing on my Mark 5, Is it above or below clutch spring?
The assembly breakdown drawing shows the thrust washer below the housing. There is an oil seal in the housing below the water pump that is not shown on the drawing, confusing.
I purchased the outboard with a bag of extra parts.
any help would be appreciated.
