Mariner Stator and Switch Box

I have a mid 90's Mariner 90 HP 3 Cylinder with a red stator. It does not have an adaptor module. Someone else took this thing apart and I am left with trying to put it back together which is being a bigger job than i thought. There are 6 wires coming off the stator. Two yellow which I know go to the rectifier, a green with white stripe, a white with green stripe, a black and a blue with white stripe. My question is where does the blue with white stripe wire go? There is not a post on the switch box for a blue/white stripe wire! Is it a ground that is to go with the black wire grounded to the block? Any help is appreciated!!

Revised! I found the adaptor module behind the oil tank. The blue wire on the bottom of the adaptor module goes to the switch box. The white with green stripe and green with white stripe go to the stator. Then there is a black wire which i the ground. However I still can't find out where this blue wire with white strip coming off the stator goes!

Some CDI stators use blue/ white as a ground, with (pure) blue to the switch box.

I suggest you contact them and ask. Nice people to deal with.
