What year was this made?
Is it a good motor? Reliable?
Are parts still available?

Completely built by Yamaha for Mercury and dressed as a Mariner.

Very well built and reliable, however, the line has been discontinued. Some, but not all parts are available from Mercury or Yamaha - depends what you may be after.

Parts from Mercury and Merc/Mariners of similar vintage and horsepower will NOT fit this motor, it is 100% Japanese built..."
