Hi
Could I kindly ask for help to identify a Mariner outboard motor which I am strugling to find anything about.
It has been purchased as 60hp 2 stroke 1995 . Weirdly enough the cover has an inlet for the oil, like it was originally oil injected one. But no signs of the container around the engine. The previous owner didn't know anything about the removal. Could've been the cover replaced at some point? Does have electric trim and it's a 3 cylinder engine.

It doesn't have any other labels apart from the one with serial number 09864574. But I think I have looked everywhere and nothing is matching those numbers. There is also number on the engine block 883 87550. I am slowly loosing hope but I believe in a power of the internet :) Iam based in the UK

Thank you in advance.

Motors from Belgium used different serial numbers.-----Should be able to find that info with a search.----Perhaps found under Mercury models as they are the same motor.

Coupler of clicks confirms it to be a 1995 model.----The listing I found also gives the equivalent USA serial # for parts look up.

Thank you for this. I've tried to cross reference US with Europe but with no luck so far. Will also look at Mercurys as suggested.

Your model number is 7060412DB but it isn’t easily recognized as far as finding parts against it.

That mentioned, Search online model number 7060412DD as that is the closest parts diagram online you could find easily outside of racerone’s suggestion to locate parts.
You’ll find them to be a 1995, 60HP, [ELPTO] model number 7060412DD.

If you reply with a quick answer the original poster does NOT learn anything.----His Belgium serial # translates to 0G090684 for USA models.----That is according to the info I found in just a few clicks.

As mentioned the 7060412DB seems to be the one. I was able to get part numbers for my model in the end. Thank you.
