Mariner (mercury) Short Shaft Length?

Hi I know this probably gets asked a million times so apologies but is this short shaft? Everything online says short shafts should be 15 inches where this is nearer 17. The f6mh indicates it is short shaft as long shaft are f6mlh but was just curious of people’s opinion or if anyone else has got one they can verify length . Thanks.

That motor would fit / operate on a 15" transom.----It is a short shaft.

Most definitely a short shaft model. Inches stated for most models are "nominal". Not actual lengths.
