Mariner 99 2 stroke date needed plus help with overheating

I'm taking a wild guess that its a june (6) 19 (82) model, can anyone confirm this as I want to buy a manual. No water "peeing" as they say, so I need to check out whats going wrong but a little concerned to start without a manual.
