Due to corrosion the engine shaft is moving , so i have to replace the bottom yoke.
Problems:
1.I cant find any replacement
2. I cant remove it. Do i have to unscrew thw bolt M12 and?? the bottom yoke is in one piece or 2??

To replace the yoke you'd need to pull the powerhead and lower unit. Remove the upper shift rod which goes down the center of the yoke.

Undo the upper and lower motor mounts and slide the yoke straight out of the center section. Use liberal application of Mercury anti-corrosion grease or a good waterproof boat bearing grease on the bolts, this will limit corrosion and if you ever need to take it apart again, it should do so with little effort.

BTW you'll likely find that the plastic "bearing" for the steering arm shaft is worn and that's why it's slopping around at the bottom. You'd have to pull the steering arm completely out of the swivel bracket to be able to get at that bottom bearing for replacement.

The bottom of the steering arm shaft is splined where it goes into the yoke. You may find that there's nothing wrong with the yoke and the bearing issue is your true problem. Check the upper tiller arm shaft bearing for slop as well, while you've got it apart. Be sure to replace the O-rings, top and bottom.

I looked up a generic 90hp Triple and it seems the parts are still available (including the yoke as necessary).

Look up parts for your motor here, by serial number, and you should find the replacement parts you need.

HTH & G'luck with the repairs..........ed

Thank you for your answer.

Yes as i see it the problem will be at the bearing.

I will look for the parts here, and then i will be starting my repairs ASAP.....Than you again!
