"Hmmm, that's a 1978 "B" model Mariner built by Yamaha.

You would need to find another head from a 1977-83 B model, 8 horse only or a 1977 Yamaha model 8B or E8D.

This may be quite a difficult task. The "C" models that followed were immensely more popular but adopted the "headless" design which is still in production currently.

Is there any chance of getting the head repaired? machine shop maybe? might be your only option.."
