"1989 Mariner 60.Fuel pump overhauled, carbs removed and cleaned. Will run at just above idle but stalls if any small movement to the throttle.
If the throttle is slammed down the boat picks and goes but only to 4000 revs. I have had this engine to 5200 on the current prop. The idle was set on the water,in forward gear, when I was tied to a mooring and this setting seems to be the best I can get.
Any suggestions?"
