"Hi, I have just fitted a brand new Quicksilver fuel line and primer bulb to my brand new Quicksilver fuel tank (MARINER 60 2 STROKE 3 CYLINDER 2006), I think I may have a problem.....when I prime the fuel up to the engine fuel inlet valve (where it enters the engine) all is well to start off, as the bulb becomes hard, however if I continue to squeeze the bulb it then goes between hard & soft/ hard/ soft and so on. The enging starts fine and runs ok.... should this bulb become rock hard after a few squeezes and STAY HARD...? I am beginning to think perhaps the "inlet valve" that the new fuel line clicks onto (on the engine) may be worn? anything you can tell me would be much appreciated before I purchase a new inlet valve section."
