"Hi, I have just fitted a bran

"Hi, I have just fitted a brand new Quicksilver fuel line and primer bulb to my brand new Quicksilver fuel tank (MARINER 60 2 STROKE 3 CYLINDER 2006), I think I may have a problem.....when I prime the fuel up to the engine fuel inlet valve (where it enters the engine) all is well to start off, as the bulb becomes hard, however if I continue to squeeze the bulb it then goes between hard & soft/ hard/ soft and so on. The enging starts fine and runs ok.... should this bulb become rock hard after a few squeezes and STAY HARD...? I am beginning to think perhaps the "inlet valve" that the new fuel line clicks onto (on the engine) may be worn? anything you can tell me would be much appreciated before I purchase a new inlet valve section."

"you pump the bulb, fuel goes

"you pump the bulb, fuel goes to carbs, bulb gets hard because fuel can't go anywhere, engine starts and uses fuel, bulb gets softer=normal.
If the fuel bulb doesn't colapse, its done its job by delivering fuel to the engine"

"Ok, all seems fine now, thank

"Ok, all seems fine now, thanks JB & JOE for your input on this problem, and putting my mind at rest, thanks guy's... sorted!"
